deFINE ART museum member reception
Feb. 21, 5-6 p.m.

Celebrate the opening of this year’s deFINE ART with featured artists and fellow museum members.

Join us 6–7 p.m. at the public reception for exhibitions by deFINE ART honoree Carlos Cruz-Diez, Hernan Bas, Monir Shahroudy Farmanfarmaian, Glen Fogel, José Parlá, Chiharu Shiota, William Singer and Hank Willis Thomas.

At 7 p.m., a performance in the SCAD Museum of Art theater by Madame Gandhi, electronic music artist, singer and activist, concludes the evening’s events.

Light refreshments will be served. RSVP to Tommy Gennuso, coordinator of museum visitation, at jgennuso@scad.edu or 912.525.5118.

Taking place Feb. 21–24 at SCAD locations in Savannah and Atlanta, Georgia, and Hong Kong, deFINE ART is the university’s annual program of exhibitions, lectures, performances and public events that highlights emerging and established artists and visionaries.
